New Content Revealed for Halo 5
During The Game Awards tonight, new content was revealed for Halo 5: Guardians.
According to a post on Xbox Wire, a free update called The Cartographer's Gift will add "the biggest and most improved Forge mode ever."
Additional content that will come with The Cartographer's Gift includes a new Warzone map called Battle of Noctus, a new Arena map called Overgrowth, and new Big Team Battle maps, Antifreeze and Burial Mounds. The update will also add "more than 30 new REQs for armors, weapons, emblems and more."
Rocket League Coming to Xbox One
Just as a ratings board suggested earlier this week, Rocket League is officially headed to Xbox One.
According to Xbox Wire, Rocket League will hit Xbox One in February 2016 and will include three content packs – Supersonic Fury, Revenge of the Battle-Cars, and Chaos Run.
In addition, Microsft says "the Halo 'HogSticker,' an alternate version of the famous Warthog Force Application Vehicle, and the Gears of War 'Armadillo,' an Armored Personnel Carrier" will also be included.
Rock Band VR Launching in 2016
Rock Band VR was announced at the Game Awards tonight, slated for release sometime in 2016.
Harmonix has spoken about the "incredibly exciting" opportunities afforded by virtual reality before. Back during E3 this year, Oculus also announced Harmonix as one of their partners, which also included Square Enix and Insomniac Games. It wasn't until tonight's Game Awards that anything was actually announced.
The upcoming Rock Band VR is a separate project from this year's Rock Band 4, made specifically for VR and the Oculus Rift exclusively.
Shadow Complex Remastered Revealed
ChAIR Entertainment announced that Shadow Complex Remastered is now available on PC, and will be coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2016.
Shadow Complex Remastered will be free on PC for a limited time. Today through December 31, 2015, fans can download the complete PC version at www.ShadowComplex.com.
The much-beloved, 2009 XBLA game never left the 360 until now. Back in 2009, and we awarded it an amazing score of 9.4.

Surprise Tron Game Announced for PC at the Game Awards
Announced in trailer form at The Game Awards, Tron Run/r is an "action arcade game" available now on Steam Early Access.
"Right now there's one mode, 'RUNNER', that plays great," reads the Steam description. "There are a few levels in this first build, and more will be added as they are finished. 'CYCLE' mode will be ready in a few weeks."
The rest of the description is fairly sparse, claiming only that it won't see full release until "at least a couple of months." The light cycle mode, meanwhile, is promised for "over the next few weeks until full release."
Images of the game leaked some time ago, though no one knew what they were for until now. If you want to see it for yourself it's available now for $10, though that price will increase after launch.
Play Elder Scrolls Online, Win $1 Million
Bethesda has announced a new contest for its MMORPG, The Elder Scrolls Online, that will award one player $1 million. The winner will be announced on February 1, 2016.
Bethesda also announced that it would give away 3,000,000 Crowns in in-game currency to 1,000 second prize winners.

Telltale Reveals Batman Game
Telltale has revealed that they're working on a Batman game.During The Game Awards 2015, Telltale premiered a brief teaser trailer that acted as a tone piece for the series. It will be launching in 2016.
From Telltale's official blog, “At Telltale, we’ve been honored to bring our unique approach to interactive storytelling to some of the biggest entertainment franchises in the world, and we’re excited to announce that we’ll soon be exploring what it means to be Batman in an all-new series starting next year,” said Kevin Bruner, Co-Founder and CEO of Telltale Games. “This iteration of Batman will give fans a first-hand opportunity to dive deeper into the complex life and mind of Bruce Wayne, the duality of his own identity, and the struggle of responsibility in saving a city overcome with corruption and villainy.”
New Details on PlayStation 4’s PS2 Emulation Leaked
Following Sony's confirmation that PS2 emulation is indeed coming to PlayStation 4, the company appears to have prematurely released additional details, with Dark Cloud being one of the first titles supported.
According to reports on Twitter, Sony posted and then quickly removed an announcement trailer showcasing Dark Cloud running on PS4. Additionally, the leaked video's description confirms PlayStation 2 emulation won't support your library of game discs or PS2 Classics.
Shovel Knight Amiibo Release Date Revealed
The Shovel Knight amiibo has a release date, and it’s coming soon.
Yacht Club Games announced on its blog that the Shovel Knight amiibo will be released on December 11, 2015 in Europe and on January 8, 2016 in the U.S and will retail for $13 USD.
The developer cites “production difficulties” as the reason for the delayed launch in the U.S.
“It was an agonizing decision, as production difficulties forced us to choose between rushing to ship a tiny, insufficient number of amiibo units before Christmas, or ship a good healthy supply of stock to North America just after Christmas,” Yacht Club Games said.
