EA: Battlefront ‘May Not Have the Depth’ Hardcore Gamers Want

Electronic Arts' CFO Blake Jorgensen has acknowledged that Star Wars Battlefront "may not have the depth" experienced players want in the sci-fi shooter.

Talking at the Nasdaq Investor Conference in Europe, Jorgensen said that the game was intentionally designed to be accessible for those new to first-person shooter games, or kids wanting to play with their parents.

"Star Wars Battlefront is a first-person shooter, but it is

the only teen-rated first-person shooters," said Jorgensen. "We had designed it to be a much more accessible product to a wide age group.

"So, an 8-year-old could play with his father on the couch, as well as a teenager or 20-year-old could play the game and enjoy it. It is more accessible.

In interviews published by Famitsu and Dengeki Online (via Gematsu), the duo confirmed that the game will officially be called Final Fantasy VII Remake to assure players that the game is not merely a sequel or spin-off.

Developer Psyonix has confirmed via Twitter that the upcoming Xbox One version of Rocket League will not feature cross-platform play. Unlike PC and PS4 Rocket League players, Xbox One players will be only able to play against other Xbox One players.

Fear the Walking Dead Star Weighs in on Zombie Outbreak

Fear the Walking Dead's Cliff Curtis has a theory on how the zombie apocalypse started.

Curtis, who plays Travis Manawa on the show, theorizes that humans have become over-immune to disease and that the "immune system takes over and refuses to let the body die." The government isn't stepping in because of the high level of importance it's put on vaccinating children.

It's easily to recall a car for a bad brakes, he told Collider, but recalling vaccines that have already been administered is impossible.

"What if that happened with inoculations and you had a bad batch, but legally, by law, you had to inoculate your children and your family? It would be mayhem."
