TMNT 2: Bringing the Turtles Out of the Shadows
It’s a summer evening in New York City, and I’m heading downtown to New York Law School, a portion of which has been overtaken by Paramount Pictures for production on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows. Shooting on the sequel to the 2014 hit is well underway, with most of the original cast and behind-the-scenes talent returning to bring the Turtles to the forefront, as it were. Out of the shadows, in fact!
“I think in the first movie we weren’t sure what the Turtles were going to be,” says executive producer and screenwriter André Nemec. “We looked at these beautiful maquettes that were built and early renderings and drawings … and it was hard to get a handle on what kind of story you could kind of tell with the Turtles. And part of the process in completing that first movie allowed us to figure out what the second movie itself wanted to be. And it made us realize that we actually could lean into telling a dynamic emotional story with the Turtles.”

It will also include new missions, armor and weapons, along with customization options.
13 Things I Learned Playing XCOM 2
Back in June we got our first look at XCOM 2 (be sure to catch up on all our IGN First XCOM 2 coverage if you missed it!) but recently I got my first chance to play Firaxis’ sequel to its turn-based tactical-strategy game. Here’s what I learned from playing four missions as the new guerrilla-style XCOM.
Watch the new XCOM 2 trailer above.
The first mission of XCOM 2 is very much like XCOM: Enemy Unknown’s tutorial: rigidly scripted, forcing you to move to exact tiles and play out its story of rescuing a high-value prisoner from an alien facility. It reintroduces us to XCOM’s basic mechanics, and shows off some new ones: setting up ambushes while in concealment, carrying downed soldiers to safety, picking up loot, an increased emphasis on blowing holes in walls with explosives to clear routes, and calling in a Skyranger to extract your soldiers.

Sceptile Revealed for Pokken Tournament
Sceptile is the latest Pokemon coming to Pokken Tournament.
The newest video on the Bandai Namco YouTube page shows the grass type Pokemon doing battle with the likes of Pikachu, Suicune, Weavile, and towards the end, sees Sceptile using a Farfetch’d to beat down a Blaziken.
And who said grass was weak to fire?
We first heard about a new character reveal last week. Before that, we learned a little about Shadow Mewtwo; the big bad of Pokken.
Comic Book Reviews for December 9, 2015
Guys, Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #1 hit this week. And also some other comics.

Written by Scott Snyder | Drawn by Greg Capullo
"The "Superheavy" storyline is quickly heating up as it moves towards its big climax. Short of Batman #44 and its moodily rendered flashback story, issue #47 might just be the strongest chapter of its arc yet. It offers a strong balance of the three major protagonists, more insight into the nature of the creepy Mr. Bloom and some excellent plot twists along the way." -Jesse
