5 Birthright Covers Tease the Fantasy Mayhem to Come

Joshua Williamson and Andrei Bressan's Birthright comic is kicking off a new arc next week starting with Issue #11, so to get you pumped for what's to come, we're giving you your first look at the variant covers for the next five issues.

The story starts with a missing child case, but once the child shows up a year later fully grown and dressed like Conan the Barbarian, things get real. Real epic, real magical, and real dangerous, as we learn that he's spent decades in a fantastical realm and has finally come home to his family. Ready for the twist? Instead of defeating the fantasy realm's evil villain, he was possessed by him, but his family is none the wiser that he's actually come home to conquer Earth. Yikes!

Special Edition Fallout 4 Cars Announced for Forza 6

Two special edition Fallout-themed cars are coming to Forza Motorsport 6.

Turn 10 Studios and Bethesda have announced a partnership that will bring players a Fallout 4-themed version of the 1956 Ford F100. All Forza 6 players will get this car today.

In addition, all Xbox One Fallout 4 players will soon receive a Chryslus Rocket 69 Coupe.

Forza 6 came out earlier this year, and in IGN's review we said that it "boasts some of the finest racing you can find on console."

Overwatch Might Be Headed to Consoles

Blizzard's upcoming PC shooter Overwatch could be making the leap to consoles, as evidence pulled from the gaming community hints at a potential port for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

One major clue is the game's user interface, which Eurogamer notes "seems particularly console friendly." Plus, Overwatch's relatively small and manageable suite of character abilities would translate well to a traditional controller.

Those who've played Overwatch cite gamepad support for the PC version as another major indicator, but the biggest tip is a piece of source code found on Blizzard's European website. The string of text, which has since been removed, said: "Overwatch is Blizzard's team-shooter for PC and consoles."

Halo 5 Sees Biggest Launch in Franchise History

Halo 5: Guardians is now the fastest-selling Xbox One exclusive, making Halo history with the biggest launch the franchise has ever seen.

According to Microsoft's announcement, 343 Industries' new shooter has raked in over $400 million worldwide across Halo 5 game and hardware sales, elevating lifetime earnings for the entire series to over $5 billion. Additionally, Guardians was Xbox One's most played game during its opening week, with the highest attach rate of any first-party title on the platform.

"The success of Halo 5: Guardians is a testament to the innovative work from the entire team at 343 Industries to bring this installment to Xbox One and the incredible community of fans who have come to love the story, characters and gameplay central to the franchise," Head of Xbox Phil Spencer said. "The game represents all the possibilities of Xbox One and has earned its place as the anchor title in the greatest holiday games lineup in Xbox history."

After an epic six-month delay, the finale to Brian Michael Bendis’ X-Men saga has arrived, and with it we finally learn Iceman’s true sexuality, once and for all.

Big Changes Coming to League of Legends Next Season

A lot of changes are coming to League of Legends in the 2016 season. Now that the World Champhionships are over, Riot has given us a rundown of what to expect.

The updates include changes to masteries, marksmen, vision, and champion select, as well as new additions to the client, items, and Summoner's Rift itself.

Riot wants to "give each marksman a specific meta-agnostic identity." For example, the designers are going to be making Quinn into "League's speediest champion," and Miss Fortune will be getting a new mechanic "to highlight her trigger-happy tendencies."

Gmail’s New AI Will Answer Your Emails for You

Google is launching a new feature to smartphones this week called Smart Reply that scans emails and suggest replies.

The system was created as a tool to help take the hassle away from replying to emails on smartphones. The email assistant scans which emails can be answered with a short reply and suggests three responses to each email. Users then simply tap on the Smart Reply suggestion of choice to start editing and adding to it, if required.

Private Lobbies Introduced to Driveclub in Latest Update

The latest update for Driveclub on PS4 has brought with it the long-awaited arrival of private lobbies for multiplayer.

Developer Evolution explains via Driveclub's Facebook page that private lobbies include “a wide variety of customisable options and modifiers for things like grid position, penalties, vehicle collisions, drafting, gear changes, camera perspective, and more.”

Evolution has also raised the club level cap from 50 to 55, with a new reward to unlock at level 55, and added new ELITE Driver Levels from 76-80 (with a new reward to unlock at each level).

Evolution also notes it has added an optional Braking Assist for players less familiar with the tracks, which will make the game friendlier for novice drivers, and that more cars, bikes, and tours are still on the way.

New Cars and Handling Update for Dirt Rally

Codemasters has added another four new cars to its continually expanding racing simulator Dirt Rally, alongside a host of other additions and community requests.

Codemasters has added a separate class (R4) to Dirt Rally to accommodate the newly-added Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X and Subaru Impreza WRX STI 2011. The Citroën C4 Rally 2010 and the Ford Focus RS Rally 2007 have been introduced to the game’s existing 2000s class.

Group B 4WD and Group A classes will receive the latest handling updates, and Codemasters has massaged in a host of community requests too, including manual control for headlights and wipers, a display for stage distance and elevation on the stage information screen, some new liveries, and various other tweaks.
