Bloodborne Patch Adds The League, NPC Co-op

Bloodborne will be getting free new content in an upcoming patch.

According to the PlayStation Blog, a new update will add The League to the original Bloodborne, ahead of the upcoming The Old Hunters expansion. “The League is band of Hunters who have taken an oath and are bound by a single purpose,” said producer Masaaki Yamagiwa in the blog post.

Allying with The League, led by “a mysterious figure” wearing a bucket for a helmet, offers players the ability to summon co-op NPCs to help with the game’s tougher areas and bosses.

Here Are the PC Specs for Assassin’s Creed Syndicate

Ubisoft has announced the minimum and recommended PC specs for the upcoming port of Assassin's Creed Syndicate, due to release November 19.

The recommended specs aren't really much different from the Assassin's Creed Unity PC specs it released last year, with the biggest difference being the host of Nvidia-only features like Nvidia's temporal anti-aliasing algorithm and G-Sync support Ubisoft is trumpeting in this year's release.

Luther Special Gets December Airdate

Luther's return to television will occur on December 17th at 9:00pm ET/PT, BBC America has announced.

Idris Elba (The Wire, Thor) will be returning to play the self-destructive near-genius, Detective Chief Inspector John Luther, who will be continuing his journey to rid London from the psychopaths that populate its streets.

In this three-hour event, Luther's desire to lead a normal life will be pushed to the side when he gets pulled into a "terrifyingly complex case" that centers around a cannibalistic serial killer.

Ubisoft Details Rainbow Six Siege Post-Launch Support

The post-launch plans for Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege have been revealed, as well new details on how the game will be handling microtransactions.

In the coming year, Rainbow Six Siege is set to receive four expansions, each of which will add one new map and two operators. Each new operator will come equipped with new primary and secondary weapons, as well as its own unique gadget.

Ubisoft outlined its plans for 2016 in a handy infographic on its official blog. Check out the game's "Year One Roadmap" below.

Scientists May Have Found Evidence of a Parallel Universe

Ranga-Ram Chary, a researcher at Planck's U.S. Data Center in California, might have found evidence of another universe.

Chary published his findings in The Astrophysical Journal, where he noted a mysterious glow using Planck's map of the cosmic microwave background, which is the light left over from the early universe shortly after the big bang.

According to a follow up piece in New Scientist, Chary believes that one possible reason for the glow could be a parallel universe which is leaking into ours, because the light is far brighter in places than it should be. There could even be multiple other universes beyond our own.

Overwatch Console Pre-Orders Available at GameStop

Following yesterday's mounting pile of evidence suggesting Blizzard's team-based shooter is coming to consoles, GameStop has confirmed it's currently taking pre-orders for Overwatch on PS4 and Xbox One.

Kotaku reached out to a store in New York City this morning and was told the location is taking currently taking pre-orders for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 versions of Overwatch, and that the game will be priced at $60 USD.

IGN has also contacted several GameStop locations in New York and received a similar response. Additionally, one store in Connecticut told us the game is currently titled "Overwatch: Origins Edition."

WWE Smackdown Moves to USA in January

WWE Smackdown will be moving to the USA Network in January.

The two-hour show will no longer be aired on Syfy, and will arrive on USA on Thursday, January 7 at 8/7c.

Smackdown will be joining the same network as WWE's Monday Night RAW, which airs on Mondays from 8-11p on USA.

The Smackdown airing on January 7 will be the 855th episode of the show, which has been running for 15 years.

Schwarzenegger to Star in Aronofsky-Produced Revenge Film

Arnold Schwarzenegger will be starring in 478, a revenge drama about a man whose wife and child die in a plane crash because of an air traffic controller mistake.

According to Deadline, Emmett/Furla/Oasis Films will finance and produce with Protozoa Pictures. Darren Aronofsky (Black Swan, The Fighter), Scott Franklin, Eric Watson, Randall Emmett, George Furla, and Peter Dealbert will be producing.

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 Release Date Revealed

Electronic Arts has announced that Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 will be coming to North America on February 23, 2016, and Europe two days later on February 25.

Garden Warfare 2 was originally thought to be coming out in Q2 2016, but the release date has been brought up.

If you pre-order the game, you'll get access to the Grass Effect Z7-Mech when you start it up. PopCap is teaming up with Bioware to create this mech that comes "loaded with the melee Zomni-tool, kinetic padding, and interlocking ceramic plate armor." Pre-ordering also grants you 14 emoji character customizations.
