Diablo 3 Patch Has New Zone, New Legendaries, and More

Details for the upcoming Diablo III patch have been outlined by Blizzard, and include a whole new area called Greyhollow Island. In addition to the new area, the Eternal Woods and Royal Quarters have been expanded "to give additional variety to bounties."

Also coming with the patch are revamped set items, "an entirely new set of challenges in the form of Set Dungeons," a new feature called Empowered Rifts, 40 new Legendary powers, and more. A revised buff UI and more space to store loot will also be part of the 2.4.0 patch.

Players on PC will be getting season journey revisions including the omission of new Seasonal Legendaries starting with Season 5. A new season rebirth will allow players to take a non-seasonal hero, reduce them to level 1, and strip all their gear. "Any gear removed from a hero in this way is automatically mailed to you in the non-season," Blizzard said.
