Minecraft Wii U Rated By PEGI
A rating for Minecraft Wii U has appeared on the Pan European Game Information page. The listing shows the game has been deemed suitable for ages 7 and up, but perhaps even more surprising than the game's existence is the release date listed at November 12.
November 12 is also the day Nintendo will broadcast its first Nintendo Direct since the passing of former CEO Satoru Iwata. The company has been mum on details, which is par for the course for Nintendo. However, we've got 11 predictions about tomorrow's Direct.

7 of the Weirdest Video Game Commercials Ever Made
Sometimes, video game commercials skip the straightforward approach and go in truly bizarre directions.
That's how we end up with a plastic baby laughing at a PlayStation 3 to sell a home console. Or a man literally exploding full of food to advertise the amount of content in a Super Nintendo game. It's strange stuff.
But we want to celebrate this offbeat approach. So we have compiled seven of the weirdest TV commercials below.
So what do you think? The grandma eating night crawlers for the Earthworm Jim commercial is pretty messed up. And so is the banned TV spot showing a zombie breastfeeding a baby. But let us know what advertisement weirded you out the most in the comments below.
Green Lantern Activates God Mode
DC's latest batch of Darkseid War tie-ins hit stores today, and Green Lantern Hal Jordan received a power boost unlike anything we've seen before.
Warning: this article contains spoilers for Justice League: The Darkseid War - Green Lantern #1!
This issue picked up one of the loose threads from the main Darkseid War storyline. By the time Hal Jordan arrived to help his comrades, the Green Lanterns were all but wiped out.
Leia’s New Title for The Force Awakens Revealed
Star Wars: The Force Awakens brings with it a new title for the series' former princess, Leia Organa, director J.J. Abrams has confirmed.
"She’s referred to as General," Abrams told Entertainment Weekly. "But … there’s a moment in the movie where a character sort of slips and calls her 'Princess.'"
Abrams continued: "The stakes are pretty high in the story for her, so there’s not much goofing around where Leia’s concerned. But it felt historic to have her, especially with Harrison, back in scenes together. I can only imagine the baggage that they bring to it, I’m just a fan who loves this stuff, but they’ve been living with it — and living in it — since '77."

Disney announced the third version of the toys-to-life game was coming to Apple TV a few months ago, and now we know the extent of the now-available starter pack.
A Steelseries Nimbus wireless controller, Bluetooth Disney Infinity base, the Twilight of the Republic play set, and figures of both Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano are included in the $100 starter pack. This pack is available online and in Apple stores nationwide and will later be more broadly distributed at retail. It should be noted that previous figures and power discs will work with this version of the game.
Google Reportedly in Talks to Build Its Own Smartphone
Google is in the midst of discussing the idea of building its very own smartphone, according to The Information.
The tech company already sells Android phones in the form of its Nexus line, but they're made in collaboration with hardware makers like LG and Huawei. Should Google decide to go solo, they'd have complete control over everything related to the phone's development, including the hardware design, internal software and how it all works together.
Google releasing its own smartphone would also see it competing with other phone makers, in addition to those that currently work on Android devices.
Snowpiercer TV Show in the Works
Snowpiercer is getting a television adaptation.
Bong Joon Ho’s hit film -- based on the French graphic novel Le Transperceneige by Jacques Lob and Jean-Marc Rochette -- about a train of survivors during a post-apocalyptic ice age will be making its way to the small screen from Marty Adelstein’s Tomorrow Studios. The script will be written by Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles creator Josh Friedman.
Following the announcement, Friedman took to Twitter to assure fans that while the outlet for Snowpiercer has yet to be secured, the show won't be coming to network television.
