Apple Offers Temporary Solution for iPad Pro Screen Blackouts

Apple has provided a temporary fix to those that are experiencing screen blackouts when using their iPad Pro.

The issue itself has been known since the launch of the iPad Pro last week, and numerous complaints from owners can be found on Apple's official support forums. Everyone reports the hardware becomes unresponsive after/during charging, and the screen remains black.

Apple posted a solution for the problem earlier today, and it's basically the way people have been dealing with it prior to now: press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time, for at least ten seconds. This will prompt a forced restart, and soon after the iPad Pro will work as intended.

The first Fallout 4 patch is just around the corner. Bethesda will release a beta version of the patch on Steam as early as next week, followed by an official release on PC. Consoles will follow sometime later.

"It's true that the freedom our games offer you can lead to unintentional consequences that are sometimes bad, when the game combines too many unexpected elements at once," Bethesda explained on its website.

Bethesda added that Fallout 4 is its "most robust and solid release ever," despite its issues. The game reportedly sold 1.8 million digital copies in its first three days, so at least some buyers likely agree. Our review of Fallout 4 also made mention of the bugs, but noted that they don't detract from what is a spectacular game overall.

Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst Runs its Way into LittleBigPlanet 3

As of this week you can buy costumes based on the upcoming Mirror's Edge: Catalyst for LittleBigPlanet 3.

Costumes include styles based on Catalyst's returning hero Faith Connors, as well as new characters Noah, Isabel, and various villains. The red leather glove, eye tattoo, and sci-fi body armor should be just the thing to flesh out your surveillance state themed levels.

As with previous LittleBigPlanet costumes you can buy the whole package for $6, or individual sets for $2 apiece.

Mirror's Edge: Catalyst was recently delayed until May of 2016. That technically makes this is our first playable look at the game's character design for quite some time. The final version of Catalyst's dystopian future likely won't be this cute, however.
