Del Toro Talks Silent Hills’ Horrifying Manga Influence
“My only two nightmares are when I become an edible object and sharks.”
I'd asked Guillermo del Toro what kept him up at night.
“I dream of zombies eating me. I jump from rooftop to rooftop, and eventually I give up because I’m too fat, and they eat me. And I dream often of sharks… My dream with sharks is I’m going to the shore, and if I make It to the shore, I’m safe.”

Outlast 2 Will Make ‘Gamers Suffer’, Says Developer
Developer Red Barrels has released its first teaser for Outlast 2.
While the follow-up to the terrifying hit horror Outlast will feature a new setting and new characters, signature features of the original game - such as the night-vision camera - will make a comeback in the sequel.
“No conflict is ever black and white. But once the dust has settled, the victors get to decide who was right and who was wrong. Who is good and who is evil," said Philippe Morin, co-founder of Red Barrels.
"Human nature pushes us to extremes of violence and depravity, which we then justify by divine inspiration and a promise of paradise to come. Horror rises from desperation and blind faith. Outlast 2 will test your faith, pushing players to a place where going mad is the only sane thing to do.”

Psychological Thriller Town of Light Release Date Confirmed
Upcoming thriller The Town of Light will release on PC on February 26, 2016.
LKA.it, a new developer based in Italy, has pushed back the original Q4 2015, stating that the delay was necessary to ensure "the delivery of the initial team vision for the story and gameplay".
The first-person psychological thriller title takes place in an abandoned psychiatric asylum, Volterra. You play as Renee, a then-16-year-old who'd been a resident at the hospital when she was experiencing schizophrenia.
“Since The Town of Light is our first project we want to make sure to use all the time available to make all the game mechanics work perfectly. It was not an easy decision, but we are sure it is the best one for the game and for the players," said Luca Dalcò, creative director.
