Ruffalo Wants Hulk to Meet Banner
Hulk/Bruce Banner actor Mark Ruffalo would like to see the two sides of his character meet one another in a future Marvel film.
When asked by The Huffington Post about his upcoming role in Thor: Ragnarok, Ruffalo jokingly responded by saying, "I play Dr. Bruce Banner, and occasionally I turn into a big green, mean monster."
The actor went on to note that he's "excited to keep coming back to this role," noting that there's "a lot of space for it to grow." In fact, Ruffalo went so far as to suggest a possible separation of his two personas, so Hulk and Banner could meet face-to-face.
Volkswagen’s Diesel Cheat Will Cost It Dearly
The cost of cheating the system for Volkswagen will end up costing more than the $7.4 billion USD the company allotted for costs relating to its diesel-emission scandal.
According to Reuters, Volkswagen's CEO Matthias Mueller said the money currently earmarked by the company only covers costs associated with the recall of vehicles affected by the scandal. "I can only speculate about any further provisions," Mueller said.
Volkswagen found itself in hot water over devices it installed in its diesel vehicles to help them cheat emissions standards. In lab settings, their cars would register as cleaner than they actually are. According to the Telegraph, Volkswagen has been installing the software in its vehicles for at least 6 years, and cars that had the cheating software installed would sometimes run up to 40 times above the legal limits placed on nitrogen oxide emissions.
They Won’t Recast Indiana Jones, Says Producer
The producer of every Indiana Jones film to date says the franchise isn't looking for another Indy.
Den of Geek (via Total Film) reports that Frank Marshall, who has been a producer or executive producer on every Indiana Jones movie so far, shot down the speculation.
“There are a lot of rumours,” Marshall said. “We haven’t even sat down to talk about Indy yet… at some point we’ll sit down. But there’s a bunch of people who could probably take the baton.” But, he said they're “not doing the Bond thing where we’re going to call somebody else Indiana Jones… we have to figure this out.”
Halo 5’s Ads Lied to You
Here’s a strange spoiler warning: Beware, what you’re about to read will completely spoil what does not happen in Halo 5: Guardians — because Microsoft’s ad campaign has been lying to you. Most of the cinematic scenes you’ve seen for Halo 5 tell a very different story than the game itself.
Let’s go back to the beginning.
The debut trailer for "Halo for Xbox One," shown at E3 2013, has little resemblance to anything that happens in Halo 5: Guardians. The lonely robed traveler wandering through a desert wasteland never shows up anywhere, even thematically. In fact, your squad is with you the entire way -- this is a co-op campaign all the way. Nothing about this scene seems to matter to the main plot, other than the existence of the winged Guardian itself.
Best WWE Wrestler Entrances
With the iconic Undertaker having wrestled Brock Lesnar for the final time at Hell in a Cell, we're taking a look back at some of the best overall WWE entrances.
A great wrestling entrance should set the tone. It should tell you what's coming your way, action-wise. When done right, the combination of the song and the swagger perfectly pairs with the wrestler and - in some cases - never needs to be altered. Even as the years press on.
Now, this isn't a list of specific one-off entrances. Like grandiose WrestleMania entrances that add dancers, extras, special costuming, movie tie-ins, zip-lines, etc. This is a showcase of some of the greatest ongoing WWE entrances over the past three (plus) decades. The ones that hype you up, mellow you out, or chill you to the bone.
Two More ID@Xbox Games Coming Soon to Xbox One
Two more games are coming soon to Xbox One through Microsoft's ID@Xbox indie program: Kingdom, and Black & White Bushido.
Kingdom is described as a 2D sidescrolling strategy and resource management hybrid. In it, players will assume the role of a king or queen in a procedurally generated realm. Once there, gamers can assert their will and "toss gold to peasants and turn them into your loyal subjects." Money is power in Kingdom, and at night creatures try to steal your cash, "and, by extension, your power." There's also a horse upon which you ride to interact with the horseless peasantry.
5 Star Wars Eras We Need to See in Video Games
With Star Wars Episode VII right around the corner, the galaxy far, far away is on everybody’s mind and predictions are about as common as misquotes from the franchise (seriously, it’s “No. I am your father.” Not, “Luke, I am your father.”) With the Jedi/Sith battle being renewed, it’s inevitably lead to some discussion about video games. And while we’ve had our fair share of winners and losers on the gaming side of Star Wars, a different discussion altogether, sometimes it’s more entertaining to talk about what “could be.”
Rather than leaning on simpler arguments like, “Imagine Knights of the Old Republic, but it takes place during the reign of Vader!” we’re going to instead examine different eras within Star Wars canon. There’s a deep, rich history that spans thousands of years that many fans don’t know about because much of it hasn’t been covered in the movies. Turmoil has existed in the Galaxy since it was created, and some of it is a perfect landscape for the next Star Wars game.
How to Play the Joker? Listen to Old Gospel Music
Earlier today we got a look at some new photos of Jared Leto as the Joker in Suicide Squad, and now we have the skinny on what it's like playing the Clown Prince from the Oscar winner himself.
In the cover story of the new issue of Empire, Leto acknowledged the now storied extremes he took in portraying the DC Comics villain (which included sending cryptic letters and dead animals to his co-stars).

By writer Shaun Simon & artist Michael Allred | Vertigo (DC Comics)
Having already read it, we are safe in saying that this comic is one of the standouts among Vertigo’s new line. Living legend Mike Allred lends his pop-art come-to-life style to a story about Reggie Riot and the Art Operatives, who make it their mission to safeguard famous works of art, even if it means using strange technology to bring Mona Lisa to life so she can escape her frame. It’s weird, inventive, and absolutely gorgeous.
A 103 Year-Old Titanic Cracker Sold for $23,000
A hard-tack biscuit that was originally part of a lifeboat survival kit from the Titanic has sold for £15,000, or around $23,000 USD, at an auction in the UK. The price was around £5,000 more than the 103-year old snack was expected to fetch.
The biscuit, or cracker, depending on which side of the Atlantic you're living, was kept by James Fenwick, a passenger onboard the SS Carpathia, which aided the rescue efforts of the doomed ocean liner.
