Another ‘Totally Awesome Hulk’ Candidate? Come On Already, Marvel!
Today Marvel released a new teaser for their upcoming series Totally Awesome Hulk, one that continues to play up the mystery of this new hero's identity. Once again, the new Hulk's head and left hand are obscured, but he appears to be wearing a ninja mask of some sort:
The mask immediately brings to mind Iron Fist. Is Hulk's fist obscured because he's busy charging up his ki? With Kaare Andrews' maxi-series Iron Fist: The Living Weapon recently wrapping up, could this series be the start of a radically different status quo for Danny Rand?
Oscars: 2016 Academy Awards Will Have 2 Hosts
The 2016 Academy Awards will feature a pair of hosts for the first time in five years.
Speaking to EW, Oscar producer David Hill confirmed there won't be just one single person hosting next year's awards show. "There will be multiple hosts for sure – there will be two," he said. "Two is better than one."
There's no word on who the two hosts will be, as Hill declined to reveal the selection. That said, rumors suggest comedic duos like Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, or Kristen Wiig and Will Ferrell may be in the running.
The last time the Oscars had two hosts was back in 2011, where Anne Hathaway and James Franco served up an infamous performance that most would deem less than stellar.

Artemis Fowl is a novel from 2001 by Eoin Colfer, focusing on a 12-year-old criminal genius and his plan to exploit the magical fairy people.
Commercial-Free Hulu is Here
Commercial-free Hulu has become a reality, with the streaming service announcing they are offering a new pricing plan for those who wish to bypass ads, effective immediately. The commercial-free version of Hulu costs $11.99 a month.
Hulu chief executive Mike Hopkins told the New York Times, “You can split people into two categories: ad avoiders and ad acceptors. There are clearly people who just are not going to buy Hulu because there are ads. We think we can bring them back into the fold with new content and this new choice.”
While complaints about the ads on Hulu are not new, Hopkins tells the Times they did notice an uptick of people bringing it up this summer, when they added the entire library of Seinfeld to their service.
NBC/The Flash Producer Developing Brides of Dracula Series
NBC has a pilot production commitment for a new show called Brides.
According to Deadline, writer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and The Flash executive producer Greg Berlanti will be working on the Warner Bros. / Berlanti Prods. project, with Sarah Schechter also on board as an executive producer.
Brides is a "sexy reimagining of Dracula as a family drama with a trio of strong, diverse female leads." It follows the story of what would happen if Van Helsing had not killed Dracula's three brides, and they were now living in modern day New York City.
How Teens Earn $25,000 Scholarships Playing Pokemon
This year’s Pokemon World Championships in Boston was the biggest in Pokemon history, measured by both turn-out and prize values. Competitive Pokemon itself, however, remains a relatively quiet scene. Is it just for kids? Is it an eSport? The truth, as it often does, lies somewhere in the middle. Pokemon is in a competitive gaming category all its own.
I talked to two competitive video game players while at Worlds, brothers Aaron and Brendan Zheng. Aaron, 17, is a partnered Twitch streamer and finished in the Masters top four at this year's Nationals event, while Brendan, 13, was the Juniors division World Champion in 2013 and is a veteran of the scene — he’s been playing seriously for five years already.
Axcend Brings Video Games to Reality
You may know Shane Davis from his work on the Superman: Earth One graphic novels or his many covers for both Marvel and DC. And if you know his work, then you know his wife Michelle's work, who frequently inks his pencils. This comics duo has taken a bit of a break from the Big Two to work on Axcend, a creator-owned series at Image Comics, out October 7.
Axcend is the couple's love letter to video games that also explores a troubled teenager who we meet on the anniversary of his twin brother's death. Eric Morn soon enters a virtual reality video game where he can escape the drama of his life, but like in so many comic book origin stories, an accident happens where he can access his super-powered video game avatar in reality.
Supergirl: Glenn Morshower Cast as General Lane
When DC Comics character General Sam Lane makes his debut on Supergirl, he’ll be portrayed by an actor who has plenty of experience playing military men, as IGN can exclusively reveal that Glenn Morshower has been cast in the recurring role on CBS’s new fall series.
Glenn Morshower will play General Sam Lane in Supergirl.
The Supergirl version of General Lane is described as a powerful military lifer -- and an overprotective father to both Lucy Lane and her sister, Lois. His arrival in National City stirs up trouble for Supergirl when he enlists her in a dangerous government initiative.

Apple iPhone 6s Event Live Blog
On Wednesday, September 9th at 10am Pacific (1pm ET / 6pm BST / Thu Sep 10 3am AEST), Apple will take the stage at San Francisco's Bill Graham Civic Auditorium—and one of their announcements presumably will be about the iPhone 6s.
What else can you expect? Given the tagline on the invite ("Hey Siri, give us a hint"), it seems a given that we'll hear more about iOS 9. It's also likely we'll hear more about a refreshed Apple TV, and possibly a streaming TV service. Less likely are an iPad Pro and an iPhone 6c, but it won't be long before we know everything.
For now, you can read up on what we expect from this September Apple event—but be sure to bookmark this page and come back on the 9th for breaking news as it's revealed!
