Is This Doctor Light on the Set of The Flash?

Two images from the set of The Flash have shown what is thought to be Doctor Light.

The shots come from Canadagraphs on Twitter, and although they only show the back of the character, CBM certainly believes it could be Doctor Light. If it is, it will of course be the Kimiyo Hoshi version of Doctor Light, rather than the regular Arthur Light.

Homefront: The Revolution Feels Like Far Cry, and That’s Awesome

Homefront: The Revolution feels a lot like recent Far Cry games, and honestly, that’s awesome. In a brief, 15 minute hands-on demo with the 2016 shooter, I was pleasantly surprised to find a sandbox packed with interesting things to do, multiple ways to explore, and some smart systems that really helped pull me into the world and keep me there.

My goal was pretty simple – get from point A to point B while trying to not get killed by the patrolling, near-future packs of North Korean soldiers. Aside from standard grunts on the ground, there were drones that patrolled the streets, snipers perched up high forcing me to find alternate routes, and heavy trucks that could tear me down with a machine gun at a moment’s notice. Lucky for me, Homefront gave me the tools to start my own revolution and really even the odds.

Hannibal: Season 3 Finale Review

Hannibal’s third season has ended and needless to say, some huge events occurred. But is that it for the show? In the wake of NBC’s cancellation of the series, no new distributor has been found, as the actors have been released from their contracts and moved on to other roles. But when I spoke to Bryan Fuller for a post-finale conversation, he revealed that there is still some hope that we could see Dr. Hannibal Lecter and Will Graham again.

Final Fantasy XV Dev ‘Tested Out’ VR Support

Square Enix experimented with VR support for Final Fantasy XV.

Speaking to IGN at PAX in Seattle, director Hajime Tabata explained that VR was briefly considered for a segment of the game but ultimately didn’t match the team’s goals.

“We had tested out utilizing VR,” Tabata told IGN via translator. “At the time we were looking into it, we felt that it could potentially work as a passive experience for a portion of the game utilizing VR. We felt that it would potentially make sense for a segment, but in terms of the overall game in itself, the entire game, we didn’t feel that having that headset on for the entirety of the game and that experience would match what we were aiming for with XV.”

Star Wars: Uprising Is a Never-Ending Force Awakens Prequel

Star Wars: Uprising really leans into George Lucas’ sci-fi World War II philosophies. Developer Kabam’s dungeon-crawling role-playing game is almost ready to launch, but when the team talks about it, the conversation isn’t about a mobile co-op game — it’s about Star Wars politics, the chaos of a galaxy ravaged by an endless war, and the people affected by it.

"The Uprising has four very distinct factions that never would be together if it weren’t for the Empire," Kabam’s Daniel Erickson told IGN. In fact, they really aren’t terribly together now. I think of the allies in World War II. Russia and America are allies, and are rushing for Germany — but we have very different ideas about what happens five seconds after the war ends."
