Rocket League ‘Absolutely’ Coming to Additional Platforms
Vehicle sports game Rocket League is "absolutely, 100 percent" coming to additional platforms, according to developer Psyonix.
Following Rocket League's early success on PlayStation 4 and PC, Psyonix Vice President of Marketing and Communications Jeremy Dunham told Gamezone the developer is now "in a position" to expand. "We are absolutely, 100 percent going to other platforms. What those platforms are and when we'll come to them, I don't know yet," he added.
Eat This Movie: Animated PEZ Candy Flick
There is a PEZ animated film in the works from Envision Media Arts. Yes, this one is based on the mechanical candy dispensers.
Deadline reports Cameron Fay, who's currently writing The Three Stooges 2 and Brothers In Law, is penning the script for PEZ. Envision's Lee Nelson and David Buelow are producing the animated flick, while David Tish, Gregg Rossen, Brian Sawyer and Jonathan Hung will executive produce.
PEZ was founded in 1927 in Austria, and today, over 3 billion candies from the company are eaten yearly in the United States.

Windows 10 Is Already More Popular With Steam Gamers Than Mac and Linux
2.3% of users on Steam are already using Windows 10 - proving more popular than any single version of Mac OSX, and more than any of the Linux OSes combined.
The stats come by way of Windows Central, which reveals that Microsoft's newest OS is proving more popular amongst gamers than any OS from Apple or Linux. The most popular OSX build is used by only 1.1% of Steam gamers, while Linux's most popular is used by just 0.25%.
Ronda Rousey to Play Herself in Biopic
Paramount Pictures has obtained the film rights to UFC champion Ronda Rousey's autobiography, My Fight / Your Fight, and has tapped the undefeated fighter to star as herself. The film will follow the life and career of Rousey as a mixed martial arts fighter.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the script will come from Dawn of the Planet of the Apes scribe Mark Bomback. Rousey and Mary Parent will produce, with Bomback also serving as an executive producer.
The biopic won't be Rousey's first appearance on the big screen; the undefeated champion previously appeared in Furious 7, Expendables 3, and Entourage. Rousey can be seen next alongside Mark Wahlberg in Mile 22.

New Dungeons & Dragons Film Moving Forward
Warner Bros., Hasbro and Sweetpea Entertainment have announced a new Dungeons & Dragons film is in the works, now that the companies have settled a years-long legal dispute over who held the screen rights.
Back in 2013, Hasbro was working with Universal on a new Dungeons & Dragons movie, while Warner Bros. and Sweetpea developed their own film. Hasbro then sued Sweetpea over rights to make a new film, but the companies have now compromised in an undisclosed arrangement and are proceeding forward with this project.
Developers Getting HoloLens ‘Within the Next Year’
Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella has said that the "V1" developer version of its HoloLens VR headset will be released "within the next year."
In an interview with BBC, Nadella said V1 will cater "more around developers and enterprises." Though no timeline was given for when a consumer version will be available, this timeline indicates it could be quite some time.

EA Teases New Star Wars: Battlefront News for Gamescom
A new mode for Star Wars Battlefront may feature a squadron of X-Wing fighters.
Electronic Arts has released a brief trailer for their large-scale multiplayer battle game, during which they teased the new mode with a squadron of X-Wing fighters taking to the skies in the last few seconds of the video.
This news was teased on Saturday via the official EA Star Wars Facebook page, with a photo of an X-Wing fighter and the words "Prepare for Take Off."
