New Studio PIXYUL Releases Racing First-Person Shooter BIOS
Former Far Cry 2 developers have banded together to launch new studio PIXYUL and release a racing first-person shooter, BIOS.
Debuting on Steam Early Access today, BIOS aims to put "a refreshing twist on the FPS genre" by integrating a shooter with elements more traditionally found in racing games.
The independent studio - founded by Julien Cuny and Louis-Pierre Pharand - has chosen to feature the game on Steam as it "values the involvement of players at an early stage to build lasting relationships and to make better games."
Comic Book Reviews for June 3, 2015
What. A. Week. Of. Comics!
DC's two-month hiatus is over and they are back in full force with the first wave of post-New 52 titles. There's some huge returning titles like Action Comics and Justice League as well as some intriguing new books like Midnighter #1 and Bizarro #1.
Marvel was no slouch, however, putting out an onslaught of Secret Wars comics headed up by Secret Wars #3 and Spider-Man: Renew Your Vows, and then three Star Wars comics on top of that.
It was a huge week for the other publishers, too, as we got Archie #666, a new Rob Liefeld book called The Covenant, and the finale to the gone-too-soon Samurai Jack comic series.
Take a look at our reviews, then let us know your thoughts in the comments.

Gearbox Spills the Beans on Battleborn’s Modes and Features
Gearbox revealed key features of its upcoming game Battleborn, including 25 unique, playable characters.
It also announced Battleborn will have a story mode that can be played either single-player or cooperatively, and will also have three "distinctly different competitive multiplayer modes."
Story mode can be played with up to five friends, either online or splitscreen. Gearbox said the story is modular, which "allows players to replay missions for the chance to earn better loot."
Multiplayer in Battleborn can be played by up to 10 players in a 5v5 configuration, in Incursion, Devastation, or Meltdown modes.
Incursion pits teams against waves of AI-controlled minions, with teams working to defend their own base while simultaneously trying to destroy the base of their opponents. Devastation is an objective-based team deathmatch, and Meltdown sees teams protect their minions "as they march to their death at the center of the map."
Yahoo Will Live Stream an NFL Game in October
Yahoo has won the rights to stream the Buffalo Bills against the Jacksonville Jaguars as part of an NFL test run for live streaming in October.
The game won't be shown on television in the US, apart from in the Bills and Jaguars home markets. Instead the game, which is being held in London as part of the NFL's International Series, will be live streamed for free around the world.
It is thought that Yahoo has paid at least $10 million for the rights, beating out the likes of Google and other companies.
Yahoo has stated that "for the first time in NFL history, anyone with an Internet connection can tune in, exclusively on Yahoo, from anywhere to watch a live football game for free."

Haier Asia has produced a life size R2-D2 mini fridge that will deliver drinks to you.
The fridge is fully detailed, comes with a remote control, and is rechargeable. When summoned, it will roll over to you and you'll be able to open the front panel to grab a drink.
This isn't the biggest R2-D2 out there though, because All Nippon Airways and Disney are teaming up to transform a Dreamliner into a flying R2-D2.
It is thought the R2-D2 mini fridge will be coming out next year, but no pricing information is available yet.
Pluto’s Moons Are Out of Control
Data from the Hubble telescope has shown that two of Pluto's moons "wobble unpredictably," according to NASA.
The data has revealed "a cosmic dance with a chaotic rhythm," said John Grunsfeld, associate administrator of NASA's Science Mission Directorate in Washington.
The New Horizons spacecraft is rapidly approaching Pluto, and the moons will be studied in closer detail when it flies by in June.
According to the data, the moons Nix and Hydra are wobbling because of shifting gravitational fields, caused by the double planet system of Pluto and Charon whirling about each other. It is also thought that its other moons, Kerberos and Styx, are behaving similarly.

New World Coming to The Sims 4 for Free
Maxis has announced it will be adding a new world to The Sims 4 on June 11, free for all owners of the game.

The new world will be a blank slate where players can start building new structures, or place downloaded homes and venues from the Gallery. Full details of the update can be found on The Sims 4 website.
According to IGN's review, The Sims 4 is a "good start to what may eventually be expanded into a great Sims game." In April the first expansion pack for The Sims 4 was released, which added new careers and skills.
