“We're going all-out with modding on XCOM 2,” declared Creative Director Jake Solomon. One of his and Lead Producer Garth DeAngelis’ chief regrets about XCOM: Enemy Unknown is its lack of significant mod support, and it’s a missed opportunity they don’t intend to repeat. And so they laid out their plans: Either day-and-date with XCOM 2’s November launch or soon thereafter, Firaxis intends to release a full suite of modding tools – an Unreal Development Kit (UDK) and the editor the developers use to create content – that will enable modders to run wild with XCOM 2. “It's yours now; do with it what you want.”

“People will see the gameplay source, all the scripting,” he promised. “This is the code that makes the game what the game is. Here's the editor and all the assets that went into this game.”

The painstakingly-testing platformer Super Meat Boy is coming to PlayStation 4 and Vita later this year.

In even better news, when Super Meat Boy does release on PlayStation, it’ll be free to all PS Plus subscribers. Team Meat’s Tommy Refenes explains the reasoning over on the Super Meat Boy website, saying it’s to make up for the “we can’t do it, sorry,” responses over the years when asked if we’ll ever see Meat Boy on PlayStation consoles.

When Super Meat Boy first released, Team Meat – for whatever reason – wasn't allowed to bring it over to Sony consoles. That stance, however, has since changed.

Game of Thrones: Showrunners Talk Last Night’s Death Scene

Game of Thrones showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss have spoken out about the most recent shocking death to come to the hit show.

If you haven't seen Game of Thrones season 5, episode 9: "The Dance of Dragons" yet, be aware spoilers about many of the events that happen follow.

The incident we're referring to is Stannis' confusing decision to suddenly willingly allow his daughter, Shireen Baratheon, to be burnt at the stake. Many found the about-face Stannis has done over this issue to be incongruous with his character, especially as he only recently professed his love for her and argued with Melisandre over such an idea. Additionally, this is one of those events that hasn't happened in the books yet, so most were blindsided.
