First Look at Dishonored 2’s Corvo Attano
Dishonored 2's first trailer showed us Emily Kaldwin, and Bethesda's E3 2015 booth has our first look at the game's second protagonist, the returning Corvo Attano.
A portrait of an older man at the booth -- which also displays Kaldwin's new outfit and the automata seen in the trailer -- gives us a look at Corvo, "older and wiser," as Bethesda put it.
What do you make of Corvo's new 15-years-later look?
For a glimpse at what you can expect from Dishonored 2, check out its CG reveal trailer below.
Hoth in Star Wars Battlefront Is Cool in Lots of Ways
Killing Stormtroopers is a lot of fun. Maybe it’s the way they fall – with a slight theatrical tumble – or the shower of sparks that accompanies every hit. My favourite kill was when I shot a Stormtrooper’s jet pack and he spiralled out of control, crashing into his buddy.
But I had just as much fun in Star Wars Battlefront playing as a Stormtrooper – well, a Snowtrooper to be exact.
Across the frozen plains and icy mountains of Hoth, I waged war against rebel scum in a 20 vs. 20 game of Walker Assault. It's one the largest-scale modes, in which three AT-ATs trample across the map from one side to the other. As a member of the Empire, you have prevent the Rebels from seizing control of Uplinks which they’ll use to send Y-Wings on bombing raids, protect the AT-ATs, and escort them safely to their target.
Pillars of Eternity Expansion Pack Revealed
Pillars of Eternity is getting an expansion pack called The White March. It'll be out "soon" for Windows, Mac, and Linux.
The White March: Part 1 will feature new companions, new abilities, and a higher level cap, among other things. It will also "extend the story and experience" of Pillars of Eternity.
This expansion was originally a pledge add-on for its Kickstarter, which earned nearly $4 million dollars.
Our review of Pillars of Eternity called it "one of the best RPGs since Baldur's Gate."

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 Sees Old Meet New
It's been a good long while since a Tony Hawk game ground into our lives, but while the latest title bearing that prefix arrived back in 2007, it's been over a decade since a Pro Skater game was released. Hard as it may seem to believe, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 was released way back in 2002, so you have to wonder if a sequel coming over 13 years later can possibly hope to be faithful to the name it revives. Thankfully after spending time with the game, it's clear Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 will build on its heritage where appropriate, while innovating where necessary.
There are three main changes to the way the game works. First up, the team have added the ability to push when you're playing - gone are the days of desperately jumping up and down to try and muster some speed. Holding down R2 causes you to push off, though you won't be able to achieve max speed this way. As you'd expect, this has also necessitated the creation of a brake ability, which can be found on L2.
Tony Hawk Confirms THPS5 Release Date
Skateboarding icon Tony Hawk has announced that Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 will be arriving on PS4 and Xbox One on September 29, 2015. Hawk confirmed the release date for the upcoming resurrection of the esteemed Pro Skater series on his personal Twitter account.
The release date for the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions is yet to be finalised but will be coming “later this year”, according to Hawk.
#THPS5 release date is Sep 29 for PS4 & Xbox One. There, I said it. (PS3 & 360 later this year)
American Truck Simulator Announced

Developer SCS explains, "Game mechanics are based on the highly successful model from Euro Truck Simulator 2 and have been expanded with new features, creating the most captivating game experience from SCS Software."

Gears of War: Ultimate Edition Coming to PC
At E3 2015, The Coalition's Rod Ferguson announced that Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, and HD upgrade of the Xbox 360 classic, would be coming to PC. Showcased on Xbox One at Microsoft's E3 2015 press conference, Ultimate Edition for PC will run in 4K and have DX12 support.
When asked if we can expect any other Gears-related news for PC gamers, Ferguson gave a coy response about something that might be announced in the future, which could hint at the possibility of the recently-announced Gears of War 4 coming to PC at some point.
We went hands-on with Gears of War: Ultimate Edition on Xbox One at E3, and really enjoyed what we played.
Killer Instinct Coming to PC with Cross-Platform Play
Head of Xbox Phil Spencer announced at E3 that Killer Instinct is coming to PC with cross-platform play.
Speaking about the feature in general, Spencer said "There are a lot of opportunities for cross-platform," but he added that some games work better on a TV, some on a PC with mouse and keyboard, and it's not wise to force developers into anything.
Spencer added that there are no cross-platform plans for first-party games as the moment.
As of right now, Killer Instinct is only available for the Xbox One. No release date for the PC version was given.
