Jeremy Clarkson Not Returning for Forza Motorsport 6
Turn 10 has confirmed that former Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson will not be returning for Forza Motorsport 6 but the series’ partnership with Top Gear will continue.
“Top Gear still very much is a part of
Motorsport,” Turn 10 content director John Wendl explained to IGN today. “We have Stig’s Digital Cousin, we have the Top Gear Test Track, we have Top Gear inspired events in the game, and we actually have Richard
and James
continuing to do voiceover in the game as well.”
“But that’s actually led us to some new approaches to our career mode which we call Stories of Motorsport. Our new career has over 70 hours of gameplay and we’ve kinda doubled-down on that; we’ve brought in voices and personalities from racing and automotive entertainment to come in and really expand the career. You move through and you experience these things called Showcase Events that may take you back to a pre-war era Formula cars or something like that, or classic muscle cars.
Here’s Every Huge Statue From E3 2015

Watch Everything on Fallout 4 from E3 2015
E3 2015 marked the first time Bethesda held their own press conference, and we weren't disappointed. Headlined by Fallout 4, the studio definitely had a lot up their sleeve.
Fallout 4 seems huge, and this awesome look at gameplay during Bethesda's conference shows its seemingly endless limits.
Then they showed off the new base building feature, which proves just because it's the post apocalypse doesn't mean you can't get cozy.
... and with so much goodness, the only way to cap it off was for Bethesda to show us a crazy kills montage.
Even though we knew we'd see a lot of Fallout 4 from Bethesda's conference, their announcements still exceeded our wildest expectations.
Final Fantasy 7 is a Remake, Not a Remaster
The PS4 version of Final Fantasy VII isn't just a simple remastering of the original, but instead will be an entirely remade version of the beloved PS1 game.
In an IGN interview, executive producer Shinji Hashimoto told us that the team tasked with bringing the JRPG classic to Sony's modern console is looking back at the original to see what needs to be changed.
The game will be more than just an update, in other words. It will be a full-blown remake. "We're putting in a lot of careful thought to meet" the expectations of fans, Hashimoto told us.
When asked why the time for a remake was now, Hashimoto said conversations had happened over the years, but schedules of key figures, including director Yoshinori Kitase and character designer Testuya Nomura, conflicted.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake Won’t be Game’s Final Title
The remake of fan-favorite Final Fantasy VII is getting a remake, but the title Final Fantasy VII Remake is not permanent.
"Essentially we put that there to say 'yes, this is a remake,'" executive producer Shinji Hashimoto told us in an interview. Hashimoto went on to say more info on the game and its final title will be made available during the northern-hemisphere's winter.
Last winter saw the first ever PlayStation Experience, held in Las Vegas in December. During the event, Sony announced Final Fantasy VII would be coming to the PS4, but excitement waned somewhat when it was learned the version announced was a straight port from the PC version of the game.
The newly announced Final Fantasy VII remake, on the other hand, will be rebuilt entirely. Hashimoto said his team is looking at the original game to find what needs to be changed to bring the game into the modern era.
How Ubisoft Evolves Its Brands
Ubisoft believes the way to keep its brands feeling fresh is to take risks. At E3 2015, SVP of Marketing and Sales Tony Key spoke to IGN about the publisher’s strategy for sustaining its key franchises. And even when they don't pay off, it presents an opportunity to learn about a series' fanbase or about the development process itself.
“You have to take risks,” says Key. “Sometimes it doesn’t work. We took a lot of risks with Unity, to try and move that technology and the brand forward, and some of it didn’t work out.” But Syndicate will benefit from those setbacks.

In The Long Dark, What Kills You Makes You Stronger
I froze to death in The Long Dark. New to its unforgiving sandbox world, I couldn’t organize my inventory efficiently enough to stay warm, and I froze right there in the snow. It was a pitiful, embarrassing death.
So naturally, I wanted to try again.
The Long Dark is a game you will never win - its end state will always be a date with the reaper. But it quickly got under my skin, like many demanding games with clear systems do. The Long Dark’s challenges are simple: eat, sleep, stay warm, and build things that help you do these things. When you fail, you know the fault lies with you, and there lies the hook: this time, I'll last longer.
