A New Stanley Kubrick Project Is Happening
World War Z helmer Marc Foster is set to direct and produce The Downslope, a Civil War drama based on an original screenplay written in 1956 by prolific filmmaker Stanley Kubrick.
According to Variety, The Downslope is being adapted into a trilogy of films by Forster, which will be overseen by producers Lauren Selig (Lone Survivor), Barry Levine (Oblivion), and rights holders Phil Hobbs (Full Metal Jacket) and Steve Lanning.
Here’s what we know so far about the plot of Kubrick’s unproduced script: “The Downslope” centers on a series of Civil War battles in the Shenandoah Valley between Union General George Armstrong Custer and Confederate Colonel John Singleton Mosby, known as the Gray Ghost for his stealth and elusiveness. His cavalrymen, known as Mosby’s Rangers, continually outsmarted the much larger enemy forces in a sequence of raids, which enraged Custer and created a cycle of revenge between the two men.”
Google Adds Undo Send Function to Gmail
Google has added an "undo" option to sent mail on its Gmail platform. Users who have second thoughts about an email will now have the option to "undo" immediately after hitting "send."
The undo function was previously only found in Gmail Labs, Google's testbed for pre-release and experimental functions for its popular webmail service. However, within the next two weeks or so, the "undo send" ability will begin to show up in regular Gmail.

11 Things You Need to Know About Star Wars: The Old Republic’s Knights of the Fallen Empire Expansion
BioWare turned heads at E3 with yet another gorgeous trailer for Star Wars: The Old Republic.
Its new expansion, Knights of the Fallen Empire, introduced us to a pair of force-sensitive brothers, one dressed in black, the other in white, who lead a powerful new faction in galactic battles.
After watching the trailer on repeat a few times, we chatted with BioWare about how this new expansion will play, how much it costs, and whether we can play it with friends. These are the 11 things you need to know before jumping back into BioWare's Star Wars MMO.
You must be a subscriber to Star Wars: The Old Republic to access the new expansion. If you subscribe early, you’ll gain early access to Knights of the Fallen Empire as well as in-game bonuses, including a new companion and vehicle. BioWare isn’t making this expansion accessible any other way -- not even as a standalone product. There’s a good reason for that...
New to Amazon Prime for July
It's not exactly a frequent occurrence, but it looks like Amazon Prime actually may outclass Netflix in the "new movie/TV offerings" department for July. As Netflix continues to focus heavily on its original content, of course.
Netflix in July: Bojack Horseman, Wet Hot American Prequel, More
But yeah, in July Amazon Prime's got '80s fare like Flashdance, Dirty Dancing, UHF, 48 HRS., and Dragonslayer. Plus, cult favorites like The Warriors and Kubrick's Dr. Strangelove along with Oscar nominated films like Glory and Gandhi. And on the TV front there's The Newsroom, Glee, Boardwalk Empire, True Blood, and the HBO movie Behind the Candelabra.
Wrestling Wrap Up: The Authority Crushes Brock Lesnar
I'd all but mentally tuned out of RAW Monday night by the time the final overlap segment rolled around. What was to be the big "Seth Rollins Apology" (following the Lesnar apology and the Kevin Owens apology - RAW IS SORRY!). I expected Brock to come back out but I really only thought we'd get a repeat of last week. The stare down.
Speaking of last week, the Wrap Up kinda/sorta got smothered under all the E3 coverage and happenings, so here it is. If you missed it and want to read it. I know, it's a week old now. Which in is fifty thousand million years in Internet time. It probably has references to Jurassic World and other lame old movies that old people watched back in the day.
