Meet Green Lantern’s New ‘Christmas Lantern’
Warning: This article contains spoilers for Green Lantern: The Lost Army #1!
In today's Green Lantern: The Lost Army #1 by writer Cullen Bunn and artist Jesus Saiz, Green Lantern John Stewart and a small group of other GLs were marooned in space, under attack from killer crystalline beings, when Guy Gardner made a surprise appearance to save the group. While his appearance in the book was teased ahead of time, the biggest shock was that he was wielding both a green and red ring at the same time, earning him the nickname "Christmas Lantern" from Stewart.
Cap 3: William Hurt Talks “Much Different” Gen. Ross
Seven years after portraying General "Thunderbolt" Ross in The Incredible Hulk, William Hurt got the call to return to the role for the upcoming Captain America: Civil War. The last time we saw Ross, he was drowning his sorrows and wallowing in defeat during Hulk's final scene. Approached by a gloating Tony Stark, he was told about the Avengers Initiative. So what will Ross be like now, after all that's happened in the MCU?
I spoke to Hurt about his new AMC sci-fi series Humans, which debuts Sunday, June 28th -- more on that soon -- and asked him about returning to once again fill General Ross' sizable shoes.
"Well first of all it was delightful to get that call," Hurt said with laugh. "And second of all... how am I going to catch this train?", Hurt said of the hugely successful Marvel movie machine. "Or how am I going to catch this 747? Because it can't land for you. It's got to keep going."
Upcoming Diablo 3 Patch 2.3.0 Introduces New Zone, Artifact
Blizzard will be implementing a number of new changes in Diablo III via the upcoming patch 2.3.0.
Most notably is the Ruins of Sescheron, an all-new zone taking place in a frozen land that once belonged to the Barbarians. Contained within this zone are new enemies, environmental hazards, and new points of interest.
Among these points of interest is the Tomb of King Kanai, where players can obtain the all-new Kanai Cube relic. The predecessor of the Horadic Cube, the Kanai Cube allows players to break down Legendary items and use their special effects as passive skills, convert crafting materials, and a number of other possibilities.
Crafting has been streamlined with the latest patch, with adjustments being made to crafting mats and the number of crafting recipes to allow for more fluid and dynamic crafting.
