This Is What Aquaman and Wonder Woman Could Have Looked Like
Right on the heels of George Miller's wildly successful Mad Max: Fury Road, a new documentary exploring the director's cancelled Justice League movie--Justice League: Mortals--was announced. Now we've gotten our first look at the project thanks to some never-before-seen concept art.
To help create buzz around the documentary, the official Twitter account released four pieces of concept art provided to them by the artists directly involved with the film.
Two images of Princess Diana--aka Wonder Woman--were released, one with her stopping a flying car and one of her flying through Themyscria.
The Wicked + The Divine Headed to TV
Hot off its three Eisner-nominations (including one for "Best New Series"), Kieron Gillen, Jamie McKelvie and Matt Wilson's The Wicked + The Divine is getting a small-screen adaptation, after striking a deal with Universal TV.
According to Deadline, comic book scribes Matt Fraction and Kelly Sue DeConnick will produce the series under their new production company, Milkfed Criminal Masterminds, for Universal TV. The acclaimed duo recently formed Milkfed with the intention of bringing fellow indie comic creators' IP to television, starting with an adaptation of Fraction's own Image Comics series, Sex Criminals.
Game of Thrones Author Hopes to Finish Book 6 Before Season 6
The sixth Game of Thrones novel, The Winds of Winter, could debut in the next year.
According to Entertainment Weekly, George R. R. Martin is committed to wrapping up the novel ahead of the Season 6 debut of the Game of Thrones TV series.
Martin did not script an episode for the fifth season of Game of Thrones, like he had in previous seasons, and will opt out of penning any episodes for Season 6.
