Ultratron to Release on PlayStation Platforms in May
The spiritual successor to classic arcade game Robotron 2084 is coming to the PS4, PS3, and PS Vita on May 12.
Called Ultratron, it's a twin-stick shooter in which players are the one remaining battle droid to avenge the destruction of the human race. Along with power-ups and "cute but deadly pets," there will be multiple enemies and bosses to fight.
Developer Symon Brian of Curve Digital explains on the PlayStation Blog that it's "what happens when you take the spirit of Robotron
but update it for the PlayStation generation."

Family Guy Episode 250 Clip: Liam Neeson Confronts Peter
FOX has released a clip from Family Guy's upcoming 250th episode, featuring a confrontation between Peter Griffin and Taken actor Liam Neeson.
Apparently, Peter has been running around Quahog claiming he could "kick
arse." Neeson (voiced by Neeson himself) gains access to Peter's jail cell by posting his bail and dares Griffin to take his best shot. See what happens next in the clip below, which debuted earlier today on The Wrap.
Family Guy's landmark 250th episode, "Fighting Irish," airs May 3 at 9pm ET/PT.

Who Got Cut From Avengers: Age of Ultron?
Warning: This piece contains spoilers for Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron. If you haven't seen the movie yet, you may want to skip this one.
There's a ton of MCU cameos in Avengers: Age of Ultron, but one popular character was cut from the final film. Director, Joss Whedon confirmed Tom Hiddleston had actually filmed a few scenes as Loki, but they were cut in the editing process.
"We did shoot something and it didn’t play." Whedon said. "The movie has so much, is so filled and we didn’t want it to feel overstuffed. I really wanted to have Loki in it but I understood the decision, that it was just like, ‘Now there are too many voices in the chorus.’ At some point the embarrassment of riches is actually embarrassing."
These New Persona 5 Screens Are Incredible
Sony's Japanese PlayStation website made this weekend a whole lot better by posting over a dozen high resolution images of Atlus' much-anticipated RPG Persona 5. Coming out later this year in Japan (and hopefully the rest of the world), Persona is set to hit both PlayStation 4 as well as PlayStation 3.
You can expand the slideshow above to view images in higher resolution. You can also view much larger images in our Persona 5 gallery
Though many of the images come from scenarios from February's fantastic gameplay trailer, any new look at Persona is worth paying attention to. There's so much here to get excited about -- the Catherine-esque bar where the crew is hanging out, the stylish anime presentation of the menus, and the awesome-looking capers and heists. Take a look at the gallery above for 15 new screenshots.
Yooka-Laylee Kickstarter Funded in 40 Minutes
Yooka-Laylee, the spiritual successor to Banjo-Kazooie, has officially passed its $270 thousand goal on Kickstarter in under 40 miuntes. At the time of writing this story, the total amount pledged sits at just over $722 thousand, almost three times its original goal.
Playtonic, a new U.K.-based studio comprised of former Rare developers hopes to release Yooka-Laylee in October of 2016 on PC, Mac, Linux, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Wii U.
The game follows two characters who utilize each other's abilities to solve puzzles and traverse platforming sections together. As IGN revealed yesterday, Yooka is a chameleon and Laylee is a bat. Yooka's specialty is a tongue grapple and Laylee has a sonar blast. The characters were designed by Steve Mayles, who is also known for creating Banjo and Kazzoie, plus the modern Donkey Kong family.
Is There More Than One Infinity Gauntlet in the MCU?
Warning: This piece contains major spoilers for Avengers: Age of Ultron. If you haven't seen the movie yet, you may want to skip this one.
Thanos has popped up more than a couple times in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but Avengers: Age of Ultron's mid-credits stinger is his most important appearance yet. The mad titan is shown placing an Infinity Gauntlet on his left hand and claiming that he'll collect the stones himself. The gauntlet itself can be seen in the first Thor film within Odin's throne room, but the key difference is that it's right handed.
