Rogue Legacy Headed to Xbox One Later This Month

Rogue Legacy, the 2013 action platformer from Cellar Door Games, is making its way onto Xbox One on May 27th.

The game features roguelike elements like randomized levels, but was notable among fans for its unique take on the constantly questing player character.

Each new adventurer you spawn as following a death is a descendant of the previous, with their own unique personality traits or physical attributes that change up aspects of the game.

One character may be near-sighted, making distant things blurry. Another character may be clumsy, breaking any object they touch or stand on. There are about 37 known traits in the PC version.

We're not sure yet if the Xbox One version of Rogue Legacy has any new features, but we've reached out to developer Abstraction Games to confirm.

The slick-looking transparent screens on the tablets and other various gadgets seen in Avengers: Age of Ultron may soon be available from Samsung.

In celebration of Wolfenstein: The Old Blood's release today, Bethesda Softworks has posted a launch trailer for the expansion to MachineGames' Nazi-filled first-person shooter.

Give it a look below.

Windows Media Center Is Dead, Won’t Carry Over to Windows 10

Windows Media Center is effectively dead, as Microsoft has no plans to support the software with Windows 10.

In fact, during this year's Build Developer Conference in San Francisco, the company confirmed to ZDNet in a private meeting that those who opt for a free OS upgrade from Windows 7 or 8.1 will lose Media Center functionality altogether. And no, there won't be a way to get the software back.
