9 Minutes of Exclusive Trine 3 Gameplay Footage
IGN has received an exclusive gameplay video of Frozenbyte’s upcoming fantasy adventure Trine 3: The Artifacts of Power.
In this nine minute video we are introduced to some familiar heroes and the magical 3D world, which adds a whole new dimension to solving the various puzzles scattered around the levels.
It also shows the varied ways our three heroes – the warrior, the thief and the wizard – can interact and move around the levels both sideways and depth wise.
Accompanying the lovely visuals is the joyful score of the series composer veteran Ari Pulkkinen, who returns to add his touch to the magical world of Trine.
Trine 3: The Artifact of Power is headed to PC later this year. Other possible platforms will be revealed at a later date.
Sinister 2 Poster Revealed
Focus Features have unveiled a brand-new one-sheet for Sinister 2, their upcoming horror sequel from director Ciaran Foy (Citadel).

Here's the official plot description for Sinister 2: "In the aftermath of the shocking events in Sinister, a protective mother (Shannyn Sossamon of Wayward Pines) and her 9-year-old twin sons (real-life twins Robert and Dartanian Sloan) find themselves in a rural house marked for death. What Can We Expect From Call of Duty: Black Ops III?
Activision just revealed the "Back in Black" teaser, which all but confirms that the next Call of Duty game is Black Ops III. If you haven't seen it yet, check it out below.
Leading up to the reveal of Treyarch's next game, there was plenty of speculation that the developer would return to World at War for a sequel. The Back in Black trailer, however, is loaded with Black Ops I and II quotes, imagery from the original game's cover art, and it ends with a Roman numeral III.
It's probably safe to say we're probably not heading back to World War 2.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare made huge strides for the series' gameplay. The Exo suits added mobility we've never seen before to both the campaign and the multiplayer modes.

Pentagon Needs to Invest More in Laser Weaponry, Study Says
The US Department of Defense (DOD) must refocus its current scattergun development of laser weapons if the technology is to live up to the hype as revolutionary military tool, according to a report published this week by the Center for a New American Security (CNAS) think-tank.
“Ultimately, for DE weapons to become serious offset candidates — those technologies that enable U.S. forces to maintain battlefield superiority against any adversary — DOD must become serious about their development,” lead author Jason D. Ellis of “Directed-Energy Weapons: Promises and Prospects" writes. “Their prospective payoff in mission-critical areas warrants focused and sustained senior leader attention.”
Disney Planning Live-Action Pinnochio
A live-action film based on the classic story of Pinnochio is currently in the works at Disney.
According to a report from Deadline, famed screenwriter Peter Hedges is attached to the film, which will serve as a loose take on the beloved fairy tale centered around a wooden marionette who wishes to become a real boy.
Very little is currently known about the project, aside from the fact that it's clearly in the very early stages of production. Considering the recent success of the live-action adaptation of Disney's Cinderella, a new movie about the iconic wooden boy and his maker seems like a no brainer.
