Jon Snow Depresses Everyone at Seth Meyers’ Dinner Party

Check out this awesome video from Late Night with Seth Meyers that pokes fun at Game of Thrones' dark, dour, Jon Snow.

Here, GOT star Kit Harington plays Snow, in full Night's Watch garb, attending a cordial dinner party hosted by Seth Meyers - trying to make with the polite small talk while totally not bringing up the fact that everyone will soon face a harsh season of everlasting night and frost. It goes okay.

Oh, and spoiler warning? Right?

Halo Online Modders Making Game Playable for All

Just last week, Microsoft and 343 Industries announced Halo Online, a free-to-play shooter exclusive to PC gamers in Russia. Since then, a team of modders has taken it upon itself to leak the game to the rest of the world.

The group, known as El Dorito, has taken an early build of the game and worked to make it accessible to PC gamers outside of Russia, despite requests from Microsoft to cease such efforts.

"The game was going to be free in the first place," modder Neoshadow42 told TorrentFreak. "The PC audience has been screaming for Halo 3 for years and years, and we saw the chance with this leak. The fact that we could, in theory, bring the game that everyone wants, without the added on stuff that would ruin the game, that’s something we’d be proud of."

Rumor: New Apple TV Won’t Feature 4K Support

Apple is reportedly set to unveil a new model in its ongoing line of Apple TV set-top boxes; however, those looking to stream 4K content will likely want to look elsewhere.

According to inside sources that spoke to BuzzFeed, this year's iteration of Apple TV will not feature 4K video streaming. With such a small number of televisions out there that can display 4K video and a limited library of available content, the company apparently opted out of adding support. "4K is great, but it’s still in its infancy," said one source told the outlet.

Additionally, reports started surfacing last month regarding the announcement of a new Apple TV at this year's Word Wide Developers Conference in June.

The Upcoming Game That Might Be Gorier Than Mortal Kombat

It only takes one look to know a lot has changed from Killing Floor to Killing Floor 2, and it's grown as much beneath the surface as on it.

Still, the first thing you'll notice is how much better it looks. Killing floor wasn't known for its looks, but Killing Floor 2 might be. Thanks to the many damage points on each monster's body, and a neat animation blending system, no two of the thousands of deaths look alike. Enemies stumble about as stray bullets blow out their knee caps, reeling clumsily backwards as shots to their shoulders catch them off balance. Bigger and bigger chunks progressively fly off the face of the larger monsters with subsequent head-shots, cluing you in to how much more punishment they can take. In a subtle way, all these little details keep the relentless slaughter from feeling samey like they usually do in games where the body count is so high.

Samsung Has Its Own Version of Bendgate Going On

Samsung has responded to claims that the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge bends just like the iPhone 6.

It all started with SquareTrade. The extended warranty support service for consumers released a video to demonstrate how much pressure the iPhone 6 and the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge can support before the phones break or become unusable.

Now, Samsung has issued a post debunking the test, and calling for a new test.

Wyrmwood Director Hungry for Wyrmwood Game

The director of this year's blood-soaked horror comedy Wyrmwood: Road of the Dead is pushing for a Wyrmwood game.

In an interview with AusGamers, Kiah Roache-Turner spilled his guts on his desire for a game adaptation of the zombie road movie.

According to the interview, Roache-Turner is in the early stages of making the game a reality, which he envisions as an open-world title.

"We’re actively looking into it

and it’s just about finding the right company to partner up with. We’d love to find a young, hungry company that we can collaborate with. Obviously, it’d be fantastic to get it done properly, so you 3D scan all the actors, and all the actors are up for doing the voices. You could really make a story out of it. The possibilities are fantastic.”
