Earn Double XP This Weekend in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare

To celebrate the upcoming release of the Havoc DLC on Xbox, Sledgehammer Games is offering players of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare the chance to earn double XP in multiplayer.

Rewarding players with twice the normal amount of experience points than usual, these events can help players level up faster in matches.

Along with a chance to double their experience, players can also shoot their way through two new playlists, including Hardcore Mosh Pit and Comeback 24/7.

Batman vs. Robin Release Date Announced

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment is releasing Batman vs. Robin -- the upcoming direct-to-video DC Universe animated feature, based on Scott Snyder & Greg Capullo's The Court of Owls storyline -- as a Blu-Ray Combo Pack, DVD and Digital HD download on April 14.

The Blu-Ray Deluxe Edition of Batman vs. Robin will include the Blu-Ray Combo Pack and a Batman action figure for $29.96 USD, while the Blu-Ray Combo Pack is listed at $24.98 USD and the DVD version is set for $19.98 USD. The film will also be available on virtually all of the major digital download stores (Amazon, iTunes, PlayStation, etc).

First 4 Figures Reveals Limited-Edition Ganondorf Figurine

UK-based toy company First 4 Figures has announced that they are releasing a full range of statues based on Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, starting with the game's villain Ganondorf.

F4F created a Ganondorf figurine to celebrate the HD re-release of The Wind Waker on the Wii U system, and soon, collectors will be given the chance to get their hands on two similar, limited-edition figures. Both the regular and exclusive models stand at 15 inches tall, with The King of Darkness weilding dual swords atop a stone floor base, mimicking Wind Waker's final battle scene.

The exclusive version also comes with LED lights in the base, which illuminate the water for a rippling effect. Both the regular and exclusive Ganondorf figurines are available for pre-order for $250 USD/£165 UK and $270 USD/£178 UK, respectively. Both are set for a third-quarter 2015 release.

Marvel Reveals More About Secret Wars Tie-Ins

Update: Marvel has revealed the other two Secret Wars-related brandings that all of their ongoing series will fall under during the course of the event. Whereas the "Last Days" branding revolves around characters confronting the imminent demise of the Marvel Universe, both "Battleworld" and "Warzones" will focus on the various pieces that make up the new Battleworld.

Titles that fall under the Battleworld banner will explore the chaotic political structure of the new planet, which pulls together many pieces of many Marvel Earths. “If you want the full story of what’s happening across the surface of this new planet, BATTLEWORLD branded titles are for you,” said Marvel Editor-in-Chief Axel Alonso in the company's press release. “Who polices Battleworld? How do the various domains interact? What happens when those domains go to war? What strange, never-before-seen creatures inhabit this world? What familiar faces will make appearances? Fans who want to fully understand how each sector interacts with the others can’t miss out on these books!”

Green Ranger Dishes on Power Rangers Movie

Jason David Frank, best known as the original Green Ranger Tommy Oliver, has provided an update on the status of the Power Rangers movie and his potential involvement in the film.

Speaking to Comicbook.com, Frank says production on the Power Rangers movie is moving forward.

“We're definitely not in a holding pattern,” the actor says. “The movie is definitely set for this year. Everything is in place. They won't give me specific details because it's all like hush-hush. Even me, I try. I email Saban and ask them kind of what you're asking me, but they do feel that I'm going to be part of it, because they feel there's no movie, at least, without me.”

Microsoft Introduces the Surface Hub

Microsoft has announced a new device called the Surface Hub.

With an 84-inch, 4K display, built-in sensors, wi-fi, cameras, speakers, microphones, Bluetooth integration, and NFC, Surface Hub is a device tailored toward businesses to streamline meetings.

A touch screen and an included stylus make it possible to write on the screen with precision, and One Note integration will allow people to share their ideas via wireless connection. According to Microsoft, with Surface Hub there's "no need to take pictures of your whiteboard with your phone anymore."

Fable Legends Has Cross-Play on PC and Xbox One

Fable Legends, the next game from Lionhead Studios, will have cross-platform multiplayer between Xbox One and PCs running Windows 10.

Microsoft made the announcement today at its Windows 10 event. Fable Legends will have support for DirectX 12 on Windows 10, and players will be able to play with and against each other online.

"We think enabling people to play multiplayer games on Windows 10, across Xbox One and Windows 10, will unlock the potential of Xbox Live and grow the social network that's there today," said Phil Spencer, head of Xbox.

Microsoft made no mention of whether this feature would come to other games, but according to Spencer's statement, it seems very likely. We have reached out to Microsoft for comment.

New Windows 10 Build Next Week for Insiders

At the Windows 10 event today, Microsoft announced a new build of Windows 10 available to their Windows Insiders group next week. The first Windows 10 build for phones is also coming in February.

The Windows Insiders program provides access to new test builds of Windows 10 for registered testers.

A Phone Insider app from from earlier this month first hinted at the arrival of a mobile test build. While we don't know when exactly those in the Windows Insiders program can expect it, we do know it will be within the next month.

Deadpool Movie Reportedly Filming Soon

20th Century Fox will reportedly begin filming the Deadpool movie starring Ryan Reynolds in late March.

The film will shoot in the actor's hometown of Vancouver, British Columbia, according to Global News.

Reynolds reprises his role as Marvel's "Merc with a Mouth" Wade "Deadpool" Wilson, who was last seen in X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

It was recently that actors T.J. Miller (Transformers 4, Silicon Valley, Big Hero 6) and Ed Skrein (Game of Thrones, The Transporter Legacy) have been in talks join the Deadpool movie. Their roles have not been revealed, but Miller's role could fit the comedic tone of the superhero movie.
